I think she maaaaaay have been personally biased because of her own *cough* weight problem. She was insulted that someone’s persuasive speech topic was why people should work out more and eat healthier, because it was so totally a direct attack on her…. *rolls eyes*
My reaction precisely. Apparently, some people don’t understand the importance of allowing criticism of those in power–whether they agree with it or not.

This reminds me of my math professor who literally spent a third of one lecture preaching on the importance of birth control and family planning.
