Elisabeth Wheatley began what would be her first novel at eleven and hasn’t stopped writing since. When she’s not daydreaming of elves, vampires, and/or princes in need of rescuing, she can be found wasting time on the internet, fangirling over her latest obsession, and pretending to be a functional citizen.

As I have said before, you are one awesome teenager. My career was teaching middle/high school..once in a while I noticed the ‘spark’ the ‘vision’ in a students eye. I would encourage them to ‘go for it’, I taught science but the writer always lived deep in me. I wish I had you as a student…what conversations we’d have….

I wanted to stop by and say thank you for following me (www.ninasoden.wordpress.com). Although I don’t have a publisher I am still following my dreams as an indie author and have self published two novels in my Blood Angel series. Your story about starting at such a young age is truly inspiring, and amazing to me. I look forward to reading your books and your posts.

You know, someday in that not-too-distant future, you may have the ability to achieve real immortality via the internet. Given the progress being made in artificial neural nets it might not be long before you can upload your neural patterns to the internet, thus putting a “ghost” of yourself in there forever… Forgive me, I became fixated on that tiny aspect of your bio and then geeked out on it! Hope you don’t mind.

Hi Elisabeth 🙂
I had no idea you ran your own blog. I’m glad I stumbled upon this. I enjoy your reviews and comments on The Cat’s Eye Chronicles, especially. I knew your name was familiar, seeing as I downloaded one of your books just recently. You could not possibly impress me more at this point. I’m glad to follow you and hear more of what you have to say.

Yesterday I found your Pinterest board “Daindreth’s Assassin” while looking for images that go with the story I’ve been working on for the past year. I’ve been creating a board, similar to yours, that helps me visualize what I’ve been writing so it was inspiring to see your pinterest. Normally I quickly scroll through, choosing images that are relevant to my story, then move on to the next board. But I was super interested in your story. As I scrolled down I could not stop. I read every caption and looked at every image and wanted to find out more, which is how I got to your wordpress. All this to say, you are inspiring to me. I love your ideas and really want to read this book. I can’t wait for it to be published! I plan on reading it the day it is available 🙂
