We were a little behind the original wave of Harry Potter insanity. Mom got tired of hearing all the ‘holier than thou’ Christians talking about how it was such an evil series. She bought the first one just to find out what all the fuss was about. After that she bought them as fast as they came out. lol
In her opinion they were fun to read, had great story-lines, and got all 4 of her daughters to read at least the first one.
I have to admit that I have yet to read the last one. Perhaps it was from still mourning Dumbledore, but I just could not get past the first couple chapters of the 7th book. Haven’t seen the last 2 movies, either. Really should bite the emotional bullet and get those done.
That is so funny and sweet. ^_^
